Visually thicker hair for a more youthful look
Full, shiny hair represents youth, health and attractiveness. The greater the suffering when the forelock becomes thinner and thinner, the scalp shows through or even bald spots appear. Many men and women then lose self-esteem. Medical help is often not possible, and not everyone wants to handle hairpieces or is suitable for a transplant.
The SMP method then offers a solution. This stands for Scalp Micro Pigmentation – a special technique for creating optically thicker hair. With special needles, colored pigments are introduced into the scalp at points. This makes them look like hair follicles, bald spots or a light parting are effectively concealed. The hair looks fuller, thicker and more even.
With a bald head, this procedure can achieve the effect of a shaved look. The result is a significantly younger, more vital and, above all, completely natural look.
SMP is hardly painful. On average, three sessions of three to four hours each with an interval of at least 14 days are required. The effect is visible immediately after the treatment. Depending on the skin type and individual lifestyle, the pigmentation lasts for about three to five years and gradually fades. Then a refresher is possible.
Who is SMP for?
Scalp Micro Pigmentation is indicated:
- for women and men with thin or bald heads who are not eligible for a hair transplant.
- with visible scars on the hairy head.
- with persistent, circular hair loss (alopecia areata).
- after a hair transplant to optimize the results.
